VPS is short for Virtual Private Server. VPS hosting is the perfect balance between price-point and computing power. It occupies that middle ground between shared hosting and dedicated hosting, making it ideal for growing or complex websites. These websites may not regularly experience frequent high-volume traffic but have steadily increasing traffic, with occasional surges.

With VPS, you can install and configure nearly any software onto your OS. These are a few of the most popular uses of VPS: host unlimited personal websites, use it for remote file storage or use it as a mail server.

You can access your VPS via SSH. We recommend using PuTTY or any other SSH client. You will receive an email with the IP address of your VPS after you have purchased it.

HahuCloud's VPS is for more advanced users who have some technical skills and experience with building a website and managing server.

No, cPanel or other control panels are not included with our VPS plans. You will have full SSH access, allowing you to manage your server directly. You are welcome to install a control panel of your choice after purchasing the VPS; this may incur additional costs. Please note that we do not offer cPanel licenses.

No, our VPS plans do not come with an automated backup system included. It is the client's responsibility to manually take backups of their data. However, if you're interested in a weekly automated backup solution, please contact our support team. This service can be enabled for an additional cost, offering you convenience and peace of mind knowing your data is regularly backed up without manual intervention.

You can upgrade your VPS plan at any time through your client portal. The upgrade process is seamless and you'll only be charged the prorated difference between plans for the remainder of your billing cycle.

However, downgrading VPS plans is not possible since reducing resources, particularly storage, risks data loss. If you need a lower-tier plan, you'll need to order a new VPS with the desired specifications and migrate your data manually.

No, we do not support Windows on our VPS plans. We only support Linux operating systems.
